Greetings from the Diabetic Foot Society of India (DFSI)!
The Diabetic Foot Society of India is one of the few societies worldwide dedicated to the management of diabetic foot complications. Since our inception on March 30, 2002, DFSI has been at the fore front of training and sensitizing medical and paramedical professionals through highly structured, innovative, and state-of-the-art educational programs in India and abroad. Our relentless efforts have significantly advanced the understanding of diabetic foot problems and led to the development of newer procedures in the field.

Over the years, DFSI has played a pivotal role in transforming diabetic foot care in India-elevating it from a neglected complication to a well-recognized and actively managed condition. Through extensive training programs, we have empowered numerous General Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons endocrinologists, physicians, anesthesiologists, and paramedics to provide better care. Additionally, DFSI has been instrumental in enhancingthe quality of diabetic footwear in India, guiding manufacturers to design specialized footwear based on well-established principles.
